Year of Being a Boss Bitch: Week One

It’s been a good week folks!

No panic attacks as of yet (fingers crossed) and I’ve actually managed to do some of the things on my list.

I’ve been swimming twice this week – once after work and once before (early start, but I think it’s actually doable).  Swimming is one of very few exercises I actually enjoy (once I’m past the third length), and given the leisure centre is on my way to work, it’s a fairly manageable trip.  I’m hoping to make this a three-times-a-week thing, but we’ll see…

I’ve read five books since New Year.  Five.  I don’t know how, all I can say is I’m making more time for myself, which I didn’t think was possible, because I didn’t think I had much time left in my day…

I’ve managed to blog a lot this week too, so plenty of scheduled content ahoy, along with book reviews (Kinda thought the most useful thing to do was blog reviews of the books I’ve read, but Call Me By Your Name was the most disappointing read I’ve had in a very long time, so soz, not wasting more time on that one…).

I’m also drinking a LOT more water which is great, and using My Fitness Pal to monitor my calorie intake – I’ve managed to drop half a kg this week which is a lovely boost, and the motivation to keep going.  Between the swimming and the water I’m feeling a lot more energetic (if quite achey).

I feel good this week, I just hope I keep it up…
