Blogging – One Year On

Yesterday I got the cheeky lil WordPress email telling me I need to renew my payment method…because I’ve had this site for one whole year!  And what a year it’s been.

I started this blog as a way to get in control of my feelings, emotions and panic attacks, and an outlet for anxiety on the “bad days”.  Looking for this, I found a whole community I didn’t realise existed – a lot of people who have those same feelings, but also an insight into people living totally different lives.  The blogging community, while absolutely bonkers, has been such a joy for the last year – and that’s why I need to say thank you.  A thank you to anyone who reads this, now or in the future.  A thank you to anyone who has taken the time to follow, retweet or like a blogpost, or for following me on WordPress.  Each and every one of you has contributed to a wonderful year.

And a thank you to each of the bloggers I haven’t personally connected with, but I’ve read the content, liked your tweets, enjoyed seeing what you get up to on a week by week basis.  You are all the backbone of this community, and it’s so much fun.

A little update – I’m still a Grey’s Anatomy addict, with a fondness for spending too much money.  But I’m also; a stone lighter, in a better position with my job, blogging more frequently, and about to go on the holiday of a lifetime.

I can’t wait to see what the next year brings!
