WHY SHOULD I WORRY?!

WHY SHOULD I CARE?!

Oliver and Company.

I get why people don’t pick up on it – it’s one of the most under-marketed Disney films, and the animation nowadays is very outdated – but it’s a masterpiece.  Of course, it lifts from Oliver Twist, but through the story of an orphaned kitten who needs friends to survive in bustling 80s New York City.  But it’s gorgeous.  The soundtrack, and the delightful Dodger are both courtesy of Billy Joel – one of my favourite musicians.

But it has a lovely story, about love and acceptance and friendship – and about standing up to bullies!  Everything you could possibly want from a Disney film, right?!
